Welcome to the Halpatiokee Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) website. We are pleased to have you visit us. The mission of the NSDAR is to promote historical preservation, education, and patriotism.

The Halpatiokee Chapter was organized in Stuart, Florida on January 20, 1949. The word “Halpatiokee” originates from the Seminole Indian language meaning “river of large alligators.”  It is a Chapter within the Florida State Society Daughters of the American Revolution.  The FSSDAR is a society within the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution

Want to join? Eligibility for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution is based upon a proven bloodline to an ancestor who aided or served as a patriot in the American Revolution.  We know that genealogy can be a daunting task, and we offer one on one help for your genealogical research and DAR application.
